Wachovia Mortgage Rates Update
Although Wachovia has now merged with Wells Fargo Bank, there are still some things of interest to us here at Interest Rates Reviews that we’d like to keep you updated with. When we last looked at Wachovia Bank mortgage rates, they were competitive and today we’re bringing you the latest on how those rates have adjusted with the market.
These rates assume good credit, up to 20% down in cash or equity, cahs on hand for any fees, and a loan amount commensurate with local values in property. We will list both standard and FHA loans. Assumptions include the home will be the primary, single-family occupancy for the buyer.
30 Year Fixed Wachovia Home Loans
In this category, the rate is 4.875% (5.065% APR). For an FHA loan here, the rate is 5.00% (5.717% APR) in Wachovia interest rates. Jumbo loans (higher than area averages), rates are somewhat higher with 5.00% (5.138% APR) for standard and 5.25% (5.924% APR) for FHA loans.
15 Year Fixed Wachovia Mortgage Rates
For this term, Wachovia interest rates are only available as a standard loan. The rate is 4.25% (4.573% APR).
5/1 Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) Wachovia Bank Mortgage Rates
For this term, the rates in standard loans are 3.75% (3.601% APR) and 3.75% (3.42% APR) for FHA. Large loans in this term are at 4.00% (3.643% APR). These Wachovia interest rates are on adjustable rate mortgages, which aren’t right for everyone, but are an option many consider.
